Celebrating Western NC's German heritage, this popular event annually pulls in 100,000 visitors. For nearly two decades, folks have congregated for the family-friendly occasion, which caters to both kids and adults. Two stages for music host 20-25 bands over the weekend.

June 6th through August 29th, 2008
Every Friday evening, Hickory Alive offers folks the chance to meet up with friends and family and join in the fun. Bands play everything from rock and soul to blues and Top 40. Kids have their own series of activities, and area shops invite browsing with extended hours.
Opportunities
Continuing Education opportunities are available at Lenior-Rhyne College. The areas premier university located just minutes from Wynnshire Ridge.
